Sewer Repair In Indianapolis, IN

Perhaps water is not draining quite right in the sink, tub or shower. Maybe you are hearing funny gurgling noises or smelling something awful coming from the drains or the plumbing fixtures such as the toilet. Some of you may even have excessive puddles forming in the yard, or parking lot even when it has not rained in a while. In a worst-case scenario you watch helplessly as the backup of raw sewage and wastewater enters into your residential, commercial, or industrial property through the toilets, drains, and even the water faucets.

After the that initial feeling or horror and panic subsides a bit you start contacting any and all plumbing companies that come to mind, or call the first one listed in the phone book. A technician arrives at your home, place of business, or investment property and begins their assessment of the situation. After some initial investigation into the problem he or she gives you the bad news. There is a major problem with the sewer system. You ask them to repeat the sentence just in case you heard it wrong.

Unfortunately you did hear them correctly the first time. There is a major problem with the sewer system, and you need to make a decision on which company is best suited to repair it. Your choice in this matter is crucial in determining both the cost and time frame of the project. That being said, in order to make an educated decision you must be prepared well ahead of time. There are two main sewer repair methods available in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Traditional Sewer Repair Method

Plumbing contractors have been using the traditional sewer repair method for a very long time. It requires the excavation of a large trench along the length of the sewer pipeline in order to access the pipes for repair. Although the traditional method is effective at fixing the pipes, the trench is extremely destructive to both your landscaping and hardscaping. By the time the trench is excavated, the sewer pipeline is repaired, the trench is filled back in with dirt, and the landscaping and or hardscaping is repaired or replaced it can take multiple weeks to complete the process.

The Trenchless Sewer Repair Method

The trenchless sewer repair method was invented approximately fifteen years ago and perfected more recently by Nu Flow Technologies. The Nu Drain system does not require the excavation of a large trench. In fact, only a small access point is needed at one end of the sewer pipeline. A high-tech machine uses the small access point to install an epoxy resin soaked felt liner into the existing pipeline.

It takes a few hours for the epoxy resin to cure in place or harden, and once it does a brand new pipe within the existing sewer pipeline is formed. The new pipe will not crack, break, split or rot. In essence it entirely replaces the existing sewer pipeline, and will last for a minimum of fifty years. Nu Drain trenchless sewer repair is approximately fifty-percent less expensive than the traditional excavation method and takes as little as one day to complete from start to finish. Please contact us if a sewer related emergency strikes. Nu Flow Technologies is here for you each and every step of the way.
